Can I take paracetamol and ibuprofen together?

For most healthy adults, yes: they work differently and combine safely for short-term pain, either together or staggered. Respect each label's daily maximum and count combination cold-and-flu products, which hide paracetamol.
Ibuprofen carries the caveats: take it with food, and avoid or check first with kidney disease, ulcers, heart failure, blood thinners or pregnancy. Paracetamol's danger is quiet overdose across multiple products.
Pain needing both at full dose beyond a few days has outgrown self-treatment and deserves a diagnosis rather than escalating tablets.
